Do you outsource to companies/transcriptionists outside the U.S.?
No! Spring Hill Transcription, Inc. will never outsource your work outside the United States. Rest assured, all of our transcriptionists are bound by our own confidentiality agreements as well as HIPAA.
How do you calculate a “line”?
Our line is defined per the AAMT guidelines. Each line constitutes 65 characters including spaces.
Are all providers required to dictate/generate reports the same way?
No! Everyone’s preferences vary and here at Spring Hill we pride ourselves in accommodating everyone’s needs! We will work with you and your providers to find the best fit for each person individually!
Are you HIPAA compliant?
Yes! Not only are we HIPAA compliant, all of our transcriptionists sign a confidentiality agreement. We fully understand your role as a provider to maintain confidentiality between your patient/client and we take that very seriously. We have taken all steps possible to protect your dictation.
What are my options for submitting dictation?
We highly recommend our clients dictate via our “Dial ‘n Dictate” system with our toll free number. This secure, easy way of dictating allows us to receive your dictation in real time, expediting patient care and STAT dictations.
If our “Dial ‘n Dictate” system does not meet your needs, we also can provide you with a handheld digital recorder for a minimal charge. At the end of your day (or as often as you would like) upload your dictation directly from the memory stick via your PC to our secure website.
We also offer transcription from analog tapes. If this is your preferred method of dictating you may submit your tapes by mail.
Any digital voice file may be uploaded to our secure website.
Why does outsourcing to you save me money?
By outsourcing your dictation to us, you are eliminating overhead from your budget. With our “pay for what you say” philosophy you only pay for what you dictate. No more paying for costly equipment, employee wages or benefits.
How do I receive my completed dictation?
We offer a variety of ways to receive your dictation, including but not limited to, an FTP site linked directly to your computer, secure e-mail, fax or we can print directly to your in-house printer.
Is there any job too small/large?
No! We will gladly cover your transcription needs on a temporary basis to cover vacations, sick days, holidays, overflow, etc.
